Personal Development Learning (PDL)
PSHE and RSE are taught under the umbrella of Personal Development Learning (PDL) in our curriculum.
The RSE curriculum was agreed in 2019 after consultation with staff and parents.

At Hamble Primary, we follow a Programme of Study designed by The PSHE Association. This is supplemented by our assembly programme which ensures a thorough PDL curriculum.

E-Safety and Life Online
We use the guidance 'Education for a Connected World' to ensure complete coverage of all elements of online safety. This occurs through PDL, Computing and our assembly programme.

The thematic model from the PSHE Association provides more detail as to the progression of knowledge covered in each of the year groups.
